CLARK FREEPORT — The 30 Filipinos repatriated from Wuhan, Hubei province in China has landed at the Air Force’s Haribon Hangar here around 7 a.m.
Aside from the 30 Filipinos repatriated from the epicenter of the 2019 novel coronavirus scare, were a 10-member team from the government.
Of the 30 repatriated Filipinos onboard the chartered flight included 29 adults and one infant.
The 10-member team included two members from the Philippine Consulate General in Shanghai, three members from the Department of Foreign Affairs, and Office of the Undersecretary for Migrant Workers’ Affairs and a five-personnel medical team from Department of Health.
As earlier reported, the repatriated Overseas Filipino Workers will be immediately transported to the quarantine site at the Athletes’ Village in New Clark City, the venue of the recent 30th Southeast Asian Games.
Together with the plane’s crew, the repatriated Filipinos will also be subjected to the mandatory 14-day quarantine. (IAMIGO/SPH.com)
