MANILA, Philippines — At least seven people were reportedly injured as several cars and a bus collided on the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) in Pampanga on Sunday.
A video posted by one Gian Carlo Mendoza on Twitter showed how the vehicles piled-up after figuring in the accident.
NLEX traffic manager Robin Ignacio said the incident happened past 3 p.m. on the expressway’s southbound lane in the Mexico, Pampanga section.
Ignacio added at least six class one vehicles and a bus were involved in the collision, he added.
The accident happened after one motorist suddenly slowed down and hit the brakes, which caused the other vehicles in front to crash.
Seven people sustained minor injuries, but only four of them were treated to the hospital the inquirer.net said. The other three, Ignacio said, signed a waiver agreeing that they would not be brought.
