STO. TOMAS, Batangas – Amid the rising cases of coronavirus in the province, the provincial government late Saturday said it will issue an Executive Order to better address the growing scourge of COVID-19.
The Province of Batangas already has three (3) confirmed cases of coronavirus infections.
One of which is a 64-year-old female sexagenarian of Lemery, Batangas who recently travelled to Italy, and two septuagenarians from Batangas City.
Accordingly, the Executive Order will serve as a roadmap for a heightened preventive and control measures for the province against the spread of COVID-19.
As it is, the Provincial Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging and Re-Emerging Infectious Diseases (EREID) again met and discussed ways to better handle the health crisis late Saturday.
Meanwhile, Gov. DoDo Mandanas and Provincial Health Officer Dr. Rosvilinda Ozaeta appealed to Batanguenos to stay calm amid the prevailing health crisis as the provincial government work for ways to curtail the spread of the disease. (IAmigo/sovereignph.com)
