MANILA – Under Case Bulletin #13, the Department of Health on Friday (27 March 2020) reported 96 new coronavirus cases, bringing the national total to 803.
At the same time, the DOH report also declared that there were three (3) patients who recovered from the disease and were subsequently discharged from hospital confinement.
And with it, the total number of recovered patients from COVID-19 in the Philippines is now 31.
One of the recoveries is patient #66, a 25-year-old Filipino male from Pasig without travel history outside the country.
The DOH also reported nine (9) more fatalities from the virus that brought the total to 54 coronavirus-related deaths in PH.
Meanwhile, the United States now has the most number in coronavirus cases in the world with 83,553 infections and 1,205 deaths, way ahead of China and Italy.
Worldwide, there are now 510,108 coronavirus cases with 22,993 deaths from the disease. (ia/sovereignph.com)
