MANILA — The Department of Health has on Good Friday (10 April 2020 reported 119 new coronavirus cases in the country.
The said number pushed the Philippines’ current total of confirmed cases to 4,195.
In terms of fatalities, the DOH reported on its 4 pm bulletin of 18 new deaths due to the killer coronavirus disease, bringing the death toll to 221.
If it was of any consolation, 16 more COVID-19 patients recovered from the disease, pushing the number of PH recoveries to 140. as of Friday.
Meanwhile, Wikipedia reported that worldwide, COVID-19 cases has already reached 1,601,018.
The United States remains on top with infections of the virus with 469,021 patients followed by Spain, 153,222 cases; Italy, 143,626; Germany, 118,235; and France, 86,334 virus cases.
Considered as COVID-19 epicenter, China now lies sixth 81,907; Iran, 66,220; United Kingdom, 65,077; Turkey, 42,282; and Belgium, 24,983.
