MANILA – Philippine National Police Health Service director Brig. Gen. Herminio Tadeo Jr. said four more police officers have tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), bringing the total number of cases in the police force to 71.
Tadeo said the latest Covid-19 cases were a 38-year-old female, a 45-year-old male, a 32-year-old male and a 33-year-old male, all assigned in Metro Manila.
As this developed, Tadeo also reported two more police personnel recovered from the Covid-19, bringing the total number of recovered personnel to 10.
He said the recovered personnel were Patient #5 — a 47-year-old female and PNP Patient #34 — a 44-year-old male, both assigned in Metro Manila. (ia/SovereignPH.com/PNA)
