MANILA – A magnitude 5.2 quake hit Davao Occidental on Monday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The quake of tectonic origin struck 164 kilometers southeast of the municipality of Jose Abad Santos around 7:48 a.m. It had a depth of 64 km.
Instrumental Intensity 1 was recorded in Malungon and Alabel, Sarangani.
Phivolcs is not expecting aftershocks or damages from the earthquake. (ia/PNA)
