MANILA – Cloudy skies with isolated rain showers will prevail over most parts of the archipelago on Monday, with the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Visayas and Mindanao, and the easterlies affecting southern Luzon.
Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) weather specialist Sheilla Reyes said the low-pressure area that PAGASA was monitoring dissipated around 2 a.m.
Due to the easterlies, southern Luzon, especially Calabarzon, Mimaropa, and Bicol Region, will have isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
Fair weather and isolated rain showers will be experienced over the rest of Luzon, she added.
Visayas and Mindanao will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, light to moderate with slight to moderate seas will prevail over the whole country. (ia/PNA)
