MANILA – Fair, warm and humid weather will be experienced over the entire archipelago on Friday, with the easterlies affecting the eastern section of Southern Luzon and the Visayas.
Ariel Rojas, a weather specialist from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), said Palawan and Ilocos Region have a low chance to experience rains.
The rest of Luzon, as well as the Visayas and Mindanao, will have isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms. Isolated rain showers may likely happen in the afternoon or at night.
Light winds and light seas will prevail over northern and central Luzon.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas.
Meanwhile, Rojas said the low-pressure area (LPA) that PAGASA has been monitoring may enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Friday.
The LPA was last spotted 1,055 kilometers east of Davao City, outside PAR.
“Once it enters PAR, it may approach Eastern Visayas, and may bring rains next week,” Roxas said. (ia/PNA)
