MANILA – Philippine National Police (PNP) chief, Gen. Archie Gamboa has given all police regional offices in the country until June 7 to help the PNP Retirement and Benefits Administration Service (PRBS) locate and account for all their pensioners.
The deadline is the reiteration of the new system introduced by the PNP in the accounting of police pensioners and to remove unqualified and bogus claimants that have been on their list for years.
“Due to travel restrictions, police will be the ones to visit the last known addresses of pensioners. They may get in touch with the numbers provided by PRBS in their latest announcements,” he said in a statement.
Gamboa warned all fake claimants and bogus groups that cases will be immediately filed against them.
PRBS acting director, Col. Arthur Bisnar also said those pensioners who wish to be included in new accounting system could immediately contact these hotline numbers:
• Globe – 09777145263
• Smart – 09618990928
• Sun – 09310644316
• TM – 09534135924
A total of 10, 260 individuals are still unaccounted based on the records of PNP pensioner tracker teams. (PNA)
