MANILA – Three weather systems — a low-pressure area (LPA), the Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Palawan and the Visayas, and the southwesterly wind flow affecting Mindanao — will bring rains over most parts of the archipelago on Wednesday, a weather specialist said.

Meno Mendoza of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the LPA would bring isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the Bicol region and the provinces of Marinduque and Romblon.

The LPA was last spotted 75 km. east of Borongan City, Eastern Samar.

Mendoza, meanwhile, said Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience fair weather.

Light to moderate winds with slight to moderate seas will prevail over the whole country. (PNA)
