MANILA – The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao will bring rains over most parts of the archipelago, a weather specialist said Monday.
Meno Mendoza of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said cloudy skies and rain showers are expected over Visayas, Mindanao, Palawan, as well as other parts of Luzon.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon would get isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas will prevail over the whole country.
Mendoza said PAGASA does not see any weather disturbance that could affect the Philippine Area of Responsibility in the next two to three days. (PNA)
