MANILA – The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Palawan, the Visayas and Mindanao will bring scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over the Visayas, Palawan, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, and Caraga, the weather bureau said Thursday.

Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) weather specialist Ezra Bulquerin said other parts of the country will have fair weather.

Isolated rain showers may also be experienced due to localized thunderstorms, he added.

Bulquerin said Luzon will have fair weather for the next three days. There may be a short period of rain, especially in the afternoon or evening.

Meanwhile, light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas will prevail over the whole archipelago. (PNA)
