MANILA – The Department of Foreign Affairs’ main building on Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City will be temporarily closed beginning July 28 until further notice as part of the agency’s “public assessment of public health and safety measures currently in place”.

In a related tweet on Monday, Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin, Jr. said the DFA headquarters is “in lockdown from Covid outbreak”.

Another announcement will be made in 48 hours after the assessment, according to the agency.

The DFA-Consular Office in ASEANA and all other Consular Offices, on the other hand, will remain open for service, in accordance with their publicized operating hours.

Last week, DFA’s consular office in Manila City was also temporarily closed for disinfection. Its operation resumed on July 27. (PNA)
