Most parts of the country will experience scattered rains on Saturday due to a low-pressure area (LPA) and the southwest monsoon.
In its daily weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the LPA was last spotted 370 kilometers east of Infanta, Quezon while the southwest monsoon affects southern Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao.
As a result, Metro Manila and the regions of Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, and Bicol will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms, along with the Visayas, and the Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, and Caraga regions.
The rest of Mindanao will get partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers brought by localized thunderstorms.
The Ilocos and Cordillera regions, meanwhile, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.
The temperature in Metro Manila will range from 24 degrees Celsius (°C) to 29°C; Baguio City, 16°C to 24°C; Lipa City, 24°C to 30°C; Metro Cebu, 24°C to 30°C; Cagayan de Oro City, 23°C to 32°C; and Metro Davao, 25°C to 33°.
