Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque insists that the daughters of Vice President Leni Robredo took part in the social media storm #NasaanAngPangulo amid the flooding and destruction caused by Typhoon “Ulysses.”
Roque was responding to Robredo’s decrying him for supposedly bullying her daughters after the Palace official showed their tweets in a televised briefing, which was also interpreted by the vice president as linking her to the social media posts.
Robredo’s daughters Aika and Tricia over Twitter asked if somebody was asleep, but did not name names. In the aftermath of Ulysses, the hashtag #NasaanAngPangulo went viral over social media.
“Hindi ko po alam kung sino po ang nambu-bully, pero kami po ay isiniwalat lang namin ang katotohanan noong sinabi po namin na talagang nagsalita rin po iyong kaniyang mga anak doon sa isyu nga ng ‘Nasaan ang Presidente (I do not know who is bullying who, but we are only showing that Robredo’s daughters also took part in ‘Nassan ang President’),” Roque said in response to Robredo.
