The Philippines will be able to source at least 30 million dosages of Indian-made vaccines for the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) that could possibly arrive in the country by July 2021.
In a television interview on Monday, Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. said the deal with India’s Novavax for the Covid-19 vaccines may be signed before the year ends. “Thirty million dosages of the Indian-made Novavax vaccines are assured possibly with no cash advance. It will be available by July 2021,” Locsin said.
“The term sheet might be signed before the year ends,” he added.
