Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. DeboldSinas has ordered the dismissal of a graduating cadet of the PNP Academy in Silang, Cavite over a mauling incident on New Year’s Eve involving another cadet.

“The PNP has no tolerance for wrong doings of erring personnel, and will never tolerate any misconduct, abuse or breach of discipline,” Sinas said.

Cadet 1st Class DenvertDulansiwill also be facing administrative charges for attacking fellow senior cadet named Cadet 1st Class Joab Mar Nacnas in the Camp Castañeda in Silang, Cavite at around 11 p.m.

Initial investigation showed NacnasautionedDulansi and two other cadets, identified only as Cadet 1st Class Guminigin and Cadet 1st Class Tudlong, for drinking an alcoholic beverage at the roof deck of the one buildings in the academy. A heated argument followed that led to exchange of fists between Nacnas and Dulansi.

Nacnas was injured and rushed to a hospital and recovered.Dulansiwas turned over to the Silang police for investigation. The other police cadets were placed under restriction. SOVEREIGNPH
