Senator Christopher “Bong” Go reminded anew the country’s czar for the coronavirus disease disease 2019 (Covid-19) and Health secretary that they should be the first to be injected with the Covid-19 vaccines so more Filipinos will have no fears in taking the vaccines.
Go said that National Policy Against Covid-19 chief implementer, Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr., and Department of Health Secretary Francisco Duque 3rd along with other government officials should be the first to take Covid-19 vaccines to also show that the vaccines purchased by the government from various sources are safe to use.

“He will be among the first to be vaccinated as President and I as Senator. But that does not mean we are priority, as we want the poor to be prioritized but we want to gain the confidence of each Filipino so they will have the willingness to be injected with the Covid-19 vaccines. Vaccination is also the key so we can gradually retain normalcy in our lives,” Go said in Filipino
Galvez has said that the government will start its Covid-19 vaccination drive this month with the arrival of
