I have been writing to unmask the Nobel Peace Prize as the imperialist cultural artifact for the past thirty-years.

Ever since I discovered how human history’s ultimate peace icon Mahatma Gandhi had been repeatedly nominated for the prize but never awarded. He was repeatedly tagged as “idealist and nationalist”, “freedom fighter and a dictator” and “anti-colonial nationalist” and hence undeserving.

Nominated in 1937, 1938, 1939, 1947 and just a few days before he was assassinated in January 1948, and the Nobel Peace committee has since often regretted not having awarded Mahatma Gandhi.

The former colonized Third World should be thankful they never did as it now serves as a stark reminder of the colonialist mind of the West that persists to this day despite their denials.

The colonialist mind at its core is a White Supremacist mind, and today it still refuses to surrender the idea that they have racial advantage over the rest of humanity, persisting in opposing and sabotaging the development of the Third World nations in all the ways it can – opposing the way China is pushing development and peaceful growth through the Belt and Road initiative.

The Greatest Omission: Mahatma Gandhi

Gandhi, Le Duc Tho vs. Kissinger, Obama, Liu Xiaoboet al.

To put Mahatma Gandhi and his Satyagraha (passive non-violet resistance struggle) in perspective I see him as a Jose Rizal contemporary both fighting colonialism in the 18th through peaceful means. Gandhi ushered in eventual liberation from 200-years of the Raj or British colonial rule. The British for two centuries led the White Supremacist global throne then the U.S. in the last century.

The only person to decline the Nobel Peace Prize is Vietnamese anti-imperialist and anti-colonial leader Le Duc Tho who signed the Vietnam armistice with the U.S. in 1968. Henry Kissinger was his co-awardee.

Kissinger dropped more than 7.5-million tons of bombs on Vietnam and its adjacent countries from 1965 to 1975.

Al Gore Nobel Peace Prize was heavily criticized as the climate issue is in the original mandate, but the West was pushing for the anti-fossil fuel “Man Made Global Warming” hoax to retard third world industrialization.

Chinese dissenter Liu Xiobo endorsed the Iraq and Afghanistan wars but his anti-China diatribes was useful for the West’s propaganda in 2010 as the U.S. moved into its “Pivot to Asia”.

Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009 and defended it for “the right of the United States to wage ‘just wars’” Reuters reported in December 2009. It was to aromatize Obama to expand the Bush wars in Iraq and Afghan wars and prepare for the 2010 ”Arab Spring” that went on kill Moammar Gaddafi, then the “Pivot to Asia” announced in 2011 leading to today’s QUAD and AUKUS against China.

Can we now comprehend the concept of the Nobel Peace Prize as a WMD, Weapon of Mass Distraction?

Agents of cultural Imperialism

Google news feed the past weeks has pumped up Ressa’s award, followed by foreign secretary Locsin comments about the Nobel Peace Prize and his failed effort to get the award for his Joan-of-Arc Corazon C. Aquino.

In the same week he is featured lambasting health secretary Duque for “dropping the ball” on 50-million Pfizer vaccine syringes.

It’s Google cultural imperialism algorithms at work.

Why award Corazon C. Aquino who restored US neo-colonialism and demolished budding Philippine industrialization?

And Ressa? The Manila Times columnist Dan Steinbock of December 13, 2021 unmasks Maria Ressa’s “presstitution” to US geopolitical agenda and burying the myth of Ressa’s “sacrifice” exposing her collection of prime U.S. and Philippine properties with $ from the U.S.

READ – Don Steinbock

When a close friend vibered me Ressa’s Oslo speech I could not resist spewing venom at the ignorance of the supposed bright De La Salle fellow “graduate”.

A relative posted the same in our family page, I just responded on the Viber group with Julian Assange’s truly deserving genuine journalistic heroism in exposing US and Western atrocities in Iraq as well as those of Chelsea Manning and Edward Snowden.

Locsin, Ressa are with the whole caboodle of Albert del Rosario and Carpio in ADRI and their fellows from De La Salle U., and other academic centers. Appendage to the CSIS and AMTI (new fronts of the old CIA) pushing and perpetuating the “colonial mentality” threatening a retrogression of Philippine political culture. We must continue to expose this.

President Duterte has for the larger part liberated the Philippines from neo-colonialism, but the persistent placement of the likes of Locsin expose the country to the return of these termites.

Real peace heroes are persecuted

The last will of Alfred Nobel reads the Peace Prize is to be awarded to those who “shall have done the most or best work for fraternity between nations… abolition or reduction of standing armies and… holding and promotion of peace congresses”.

The prize committee this year argues that Ressa and Muratov made efforts “…to safeguard freedom of expression which is a precondition for democracy and lasting peace”. These two did none of what Alfred Nobel’s last will and testament set out for the Nobel Peace Prize.

What the two represents in fact are: viciously partisan news reportage unerringly consistent with US propaganda aims against independent leaders and nations, supporting US WMD (Weapons of Mass Distraction) with the aim of supporting US “regime change” in the respective countries.

The real truth teller today is Julian Assange who reported to the world the atrocities of US imperialism in Iraq and around the world with tip offs from whistleblowers like Chelsea Manning and massive downloads of secret US military and covert files. Assange has been in one form or another of detention for eleven years now and threatened to be extradited to the U.S. where he may be executed.

Julian Assange’s Wikileaks released videos leaked by Iraq War intelligence analyst Chelsea Manning who leaked videos of US helicopters shooting down civilians which turned the world against the Iraq War.

Ressa had the temerity and thick face to lambast Assange, while the world of journalism clamors for justice for Assange who really is the world’s rightful Peace Prize awardee.

Nail the Nobel Peace Prize in its coffin.

Everybody in the li should read Dan Steinbock’s article in the Manila Times entitled “Nobel for obfuscation” particularly the part exposing the seedy character behind the committee.

Among the men behind is Lord Mark Malloch-Brown, Soros and MI-6 man, Smartmatic chair (yes, believe it or not) Cory Aquino’s PR operator in 1986 People Power and Teddy “boy” Locsin’s mentor.

Let me sum up some Steinbock’s research, Ressa was nominated by Jonas Gahr Støre, the incumbent Norwegian prime minister, served in Harvard and an ex-naval officer and has for his mentor Jens Stoltenberg, current chief of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

Støre pumped millions of Norwegian tax monies to the controversial Clinton Foundation, haunted by corruption allegations.

Ressa’s Rappler is the “least trusted” news source according to the study by Yvonne Chua of the University of the Philippines, and published in 2020 by the University of Oxford and the Reuters Institute.

With the anomalous awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to the least trusted news site’s publisher the prestige of the prize will certainly go down too, and that’s good for the country and the world.

With the same dismal credibility, the Nobel Peace Prize has suffered in the eyes of the 1.4-bilion people of China, and the hundreds of millions more of Russia and the rest of the world, the Nobel Peace Prize will find lesser and lesser used as a WMD (Weapon of Mass Distraction). Well and good, one less WMD is one more win for truth and real information reporting.
