Former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and running mate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte topped the recent survey of the Manila Bulletin (MB) and Tangere for president and vice president bets for the 2022 polls.

“The nationwide survey conducted by Tangere in partnership with Manila Bulletin had a total of 2,400 respondents nationwide, with Bongbong Marcos getting 57.67 percent of the votes. He is followed by Isko Moreno at 16.75 percent,” MB and Tangere said in a statement.

For the vice presidential race, Sara Duterte was also heavily favored or 53.17 percent of the respondents, followed by Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto 3rd with 19.42 percent.

Meanwhile, for the other presidential candidates, Vice President Maria Leonor “Leni” Robredo got 15.08 percent of the respondent’s nod. She was followed by Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson at fourth, Senator Emmanuel “Manny” Pacquiao at fifth with 4.29 percent. The remaining 1.04 percent was distributed to the other candidates for president.

The same survey also showed that 60 percent of those who would vote for Marcos will not change their minds and will fully support him until election day.

As for Robredo, 50 percent who favored her said the will likely change their minds while 33 percent of those who favored Domagoso are fully committed to him.

For the rest of the vice presidential bets, Willie Ong came in at third with 15.74 percent while Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan got 5.96 percent.
