This, as the followers of the tandem of Vice President Maria Leonor “Leni” Robredo and Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan boast that the latest rallies of the “Kakampinks” are record-setting, even claiming 137,000 for last Sunday’s rally in at the Ortigas Center.

The rally of Marcos at Riverbanks on Saturday (March 19) was at 396,000 over the Facebook page “Bbm Marikina as of 8 a.m. of Wednesday (March 23, 2022), while the that of Robredo at Emerald Avenue on Sunday (March 20) had a following of 85,000 (Leni Ortigas) also as of 8 a.m. on Wednesday.

While Robredo’s rally at Ortigas had some mainstream media claiming a crowd ranging from 80,000 to 137,000, Rappler reported that the crowd was “not only from Pasig, but from the rest of Metro Manila, and even the nearby provinces.”

Meanwhile, the latest rallies of the Uniteam and Leni-Kiko outside of Metro Manila also showed the former getting more following over Facebook.

Specifically, the Facebook page “BBM General Trias,” which tracked the UniTeam’s rally on Tuesday in General Trias in Cavite, had a following of 146,000 as of 8 a.m. on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the Leni-Kiko rally in Cabanatuan City in Nueva Ecija also on Tuesday had a Facebook page of more than 16,000 as of the midnight of Tuesday, but can no longer be found in Facebook. Organizers of the rally placed the crowd estimate at 50,000.

“Organizers say 35,000 individuals have joined the rally, as of 6 pm,” Rappler said of the Leni-Kiko rally at Cabanatuan.

And like all Leni-Kiko events, the rally at Cabanatuan City was more actively covered or reported by mainstream media outlets.
