The camp of presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos slammed on Tuesday the “continuing deception” perpetrated by the camp of rival Vice President Maria Leonor “Leni” Robredo in light of news that a sex video of her daughter Aika is proliferating over the internet.
This, as Robredo said that Marcos, also known as BBM on the campaign trail, is the brains behind the proliferation of the fake sex videos of Aika.
However, Marcos spokesperson Atty. Vic Rodriquez said that Robredo can no longer deceive the Filipino people.
“Mrs. Robredo and her yellow crew can no longer deceive the Filipino people as we have all been awaken from their propaganda of lies, falsehood and politics of deception. In the spirit of lent, I admonish you not to pass on us your brand of fake, hateful, negative and gutter politics,” he said.
“Presidential frontrunner Bongbong Marcos has based his campaign solely on unity anchored on the strengths and merits of his vision and platform for the future of our country, especially the youth that has resonated throughout the land and we shall keep it that away until the very end. Enough of your deceptions,” he added.
The camp of Robredo said they are mulling to legal action over alleged sex video involving her daughter Aika that are circulating on social media.
In a statement on Monday afternoon, Robredo’s spokesperson, Ibarra Gutierrez, described the supposed sex videos involving Aika as a “malicious fabrication” to distract the supporters of the vice president for her campaign in the presidential election race.
“This is a malicious fabrication and we have reported it to the platforms concerned to have it taken down. Our lawyers are studying our options for legal action,” Gutierez said.
He said the deeper goal of the distraction ploy is to stir up trouble among Robredo’s supporters and prevent them from converting more people to support her presidential bid.
